Give Away #2

Give away number 2 for my birthday month, 3 quilting books.  One is my very favorite and is full of great quilts, 40 Fabulous Quick Quilts.  In my opinion it is one book that every quilter should have.  The other two books are by Fig Tree quilts, Fresh Vintage and Pastry Shop. They too are filled with wonderful quilts.  Drawing for these books will be on Sunday.  Leave a post telling me your favorite quilt book for one chance to win and a post on your blog for a second chance to win. Good Luck

Way to go! Celebrating a whole month. Why not! Happy Birthmonth!

My favorite quilting book? Hmmmm, for piecing, I have used Nickel Quilts and More Nickel Quilts by Pat Speth several times over the years. Actually, they have inspired a number of quilts. You can tell that I like to do scrap designs. For quilting, I started with Show me how to Machine Quilt by Kathy Sandbach for domestic machines, but I still refer to it for inspiration with my long arm.
Recently, I have been thinking I should look into the Fig Tree books. I know! Maybe I will win one of yours. :-D Thanks for the opportunity!

Happy birthday month! My favorite book? Hmmm that's a hard one. I love Coffee Time Quilts and go to it for inspiration, but right now I am plotting and planning quilts from Kim Brackett's first Scrap Basket book. Love that book!

It's hard to pick my favorite book, but I can narrow it down a little. I have three by Carrie Nelson of Miss Rose & Co., and they are all fabulous. I also love Kim Diehl books and Scrap Basket Surprises is wonderful. I don't know why I don't have any Fig Tree Books - I always drool over their patterns when I see them. Thanks for a fun giveaway.
Happy Birthday!

I could really use a book because I don't have any. I have a few patterns and magazines.

I wish I had a favorite book, but I don't. I've only bought a couple, actually, and then I didn't really care for them. I have had a lot of luck with many internet patterns though. Happy Birthday (#2)....giggle!

I don't have a favorite yet I guess. I do like the nickle books and the Around the Block books...I do go to those when I want to find blocks to make. I am drooling to get the Scrap Basket Sensations book...maybe for my birthday...

Happy Birthday! What a great way to celebrate ~ sharing the things you love most. My favorite quilting book is a Better Homes & Gardens book called America's Heritage Quilts. I checked it out from the library and when it came time to return it I had such a hard time (but of course I did return it!). I found it and now have my own copy.

How wonderful - a whole month to celebrate your birthday! This is my current favorite quilting book to read: Rotary Cutting Revolution by Anita Grossman Solomon. Disclaimer: haven't made a quilt from it yet but sure do like to re-read it.

I always say Eleanor Burns Quilt in a Day Log Cabin because that was my first but I do like many books!

Right now my favorite quilt book is "Simplify" by Camille Roskelley. Favorites tend to change, as I fall in love with ever more books. My old time go-to quilt book is my first: Quilts from the Quiltmaker's Gift.

Thanks for the giveaway. You really know how to spread the love.
