Christmas Lights

I haven't been making a lot of progress on my UFO's for this year. Last year I decided to follow along with the Bonnie Hunter mystery quilt in Quiltmaker Magazine. It was the first mystery quilt that I had done. I have to admit that I got really tired of making half square triangles, but I do love the quilt. I got it back from Lisa, my quilter, last week and finished the binding last night. DH rarely ever makes comments about my quilts, but he did say that he thought we needed to keep this one. I agree. Even though the name is Christmas Lights, it is not at all "Christmasy" at least mine isn't, it does have red and green, but not the shades you usually associate with Christmas.

That does look like a lot of HSTs! It's lovely and you're right - it will fit in from late summer all the way through the end of winter! Nice work.

Good job on Christmas Lights. Just read Bonnie-new mystery coming in November!

I love it! I need to finish mine up. I think I need setting fabric and borders. I bet there's something in the stash closet that will work; I just have to be brave enough to venture in there.

Dazzling quilt!!! I'd keep this one, too! It is definitely not Christmasy. Need to add borders to my CL.
