This afternoon I had to visit the dentist for my annual cleaning. We were chatting and right before he stuck his hands in my mouth he said, Oh, did you know there were only 50 more days until Christmas. It was a good thing they had already taken my blood pressure. I laid there and thought about all of the things I needed to get done before the big day. I guess I need to kick it up a notch and get busy.

It hit me this weekend. Time to make some decisions and make some purchases for gifts. Let's enjoy this holiday season!
Quick Becky ... check that first line over carefully ... I really think you mean annUal. Because although not exactly spelled correctly I did hoot with laughter based on what was written. I am a notoriously bad speller although I ALWAYS blame it on my typing!

Good thing he mentioned it BEFORE he put his hands in your mouth - you could have bitten his fingers!!! Things like that happen when you're startled unnecessarily!
I have a chatty dentist and he always asks some interesting questions when you can't answer!
Must be a dentist thing.
