The Shack

I finished William P. Young's book, The Shack last night. I truly enjoyed it. It is most definitely a book that makes you think about things, especially God and how we view him. I am so glad that I read this book when I did. It is making me look at the death of my father in a whole new way. It is making me look at a lot of things in a new way. If you are looking for a "different" kind of book I would definitely recommend this one. If you live in the Atlanta, Snellville area the author is going to be at the Borders on 124 October the 9th. I am not sure of times, you could call that location and get more specific information.

Enjoyed your review of "The Shack" Thank you for taking the time to share.

I was not in total agreement with The Shack (I am not in total agreement with several of my favorite authors).Any book that includes conversations with God is bound to receive criticism. How can anyone put words in God’s mouth? But this is one moving book! I smiled, cried, pondered, prayed, and repented as I read ( I have been hurt a lot in churches so I was profoundly impacted.). I read it twice and now listening to the audio. Amazing! Be sure to check out "The Shack Blog and Forum.

I wrote a lengthy review on blog. Please visit.
