My new "hobby"

Like I need a new hobby!!  Since I started dyeing wool a couple of years ago, I have ended up with lots of leftover pieces of wool in a variety of  sizes and colors.  I decided to take up hooking.  I took Mary Ellen's class at Little Quilts and absolutely love doing this.  It is so easy, once you get the hang of it.  This is a small piece about 5 x 7.  I need to get a little more consistent in the height of my loops but over all I am pleased with it.

I have never tried this before, is it difficult or time consuming?

A new "hooker"! Glad you like it, I got hooked a year ago and my quilting has suffered. I'm just finishing UFO's and not starting any new quilting projects. My wool stash has now grown larger than my fabric. I've got 2 frames, so a small project travels with me and the larger one stays home with a rug in progress. If there is a hook-in near you attend if you can---they are lots of fun.
