Allergies and prepping for Sue

When I first moved to Atlanta about 26 years ago, ( I can't believe it has been that long) I didn't have allergies, now it seems like I have them all of the time.  Spring has been really bad for me the last couple of years.  I don't know what it is that I am allergic to but I want it to go away!!!  I have gone through two boxes of tissues in the last week.  Ugh!!!!  The one high point of the week was speaking at the Gwinnett Quilt Guild.  I had the best time.  I did a talk on collecting/appraising quilts, would love to do this full time.

Today in between blowing my nose and sniffing I finished prepping my piece for the Sue Spargo workshop next Saturday.  I am really looking forward to seeing how she does some of her stitches.  I really didn't want to buy her wool kit since I have my own hand dyed wool but it was part of the class that you had to buy the kit.  I have the flowers ready to go on the back ground can't wait to see what she has us do.

One thing I do not miss about Atlanta is the pollen and spring allergies!! Have a great time at the workshop! I'm looking forward to seeing your project.
