Christmas in July

I love Christmas, it is my favorite holiday. I make many of the presents that I give, so I usually start on them right after Christmas for the following Christmas. That way I am always thinking Christmas. I also shop year around, whenever someone mentions something that they would like to have I make a note of it, or if it is something basic that I am positive that they won't go out and buy, I buy it then. At this point I have about half of my Christmas shopping done. I even think Christmas when we go on vacation, where ever we go I buy a Christmas ornament to remind me of that place. I love it when shops (either real or online) have Christmas in July Sales, so I decided to have a Christmas in July give away. I found one of my favorite easy patterns, Picture Play and fabric to make it from and put a kit together. This is all from my stash. I actually had put it together to make myself and decided I didn't know when I would do it. It needs a good home. I am also adding a Country Threads Wall hanging pattern and a Quick and Cozy Flannel Quilts book. Just think you could have a Christmas quilt together by Christmas. Leave a comment and you will be entered once, become a follower of my blog - get two entries. The random number generator will determine the winner on Saturday, July 25. Good Luck.

I do the same thing! I am always on the lookout for Christmas gifts wherever I go. It sure does help to spread it out through the year, doesn't it?

I love Christmas and I always have way more projects planned than time. But so what! Would love to win another! Thanks for the chance.
Enjoy the rest of your summer vacation.

Great give-away! I blogged about your give-away. Of course, I don't expect my name to go in the give-away since I won last time.

I am like that too. I almost always have Christmas shopping done before December. I have a dresser in our office and everytime I get a gift, it goes in the drawer. That way they are all in one place and I can keep track of what has been gotten for who (try to limit the double buying!).
Thanks for the great giveaway, and I am starting to line up my Christmas quilts and homemade gifts now.

I used to do the same thing. KB Toy store used to run the best sales this time of year and I would finish all the nieces and nephews and a good chunk of my girls' by now. But they went bankrupt and I just can't seem to stop quilting long enough to christmas shop. I would love to win a give-away...
I heard about your giveaway on Becky's The quilting Booklady

I admire anyone who spreads the joy of the season throughout the year. I am usually the one stitching and wrapping at the last minute! Love the selection for your give-away.

I've already started the christmas quilting! Insane isn't it! But if I don't start now, I'll never get it done, never! Thanks for the chance!

That cream fabric would have come in handy for a backing of a baby quilt I recently made...I couldn't find anything locally that coordinated well with the top fabrics. Would love to make that fun kit you've put together.
