I am always on the look out for books with a sewing theme. I saw one advertised in one of the quilt magazines last week and decided to look for it at the local library. The author is Marie Bostwick, and the title is A Single Thread. I managed to find it earlier this week and I finished reading it last night. It was a very good read. The characters were very likable and it was a plus that it was set around a quilt shop in New England. I had not read any of this author's previous books, but will definitely be on the lookout for her other books.
As far as sewing themed books go, I really like the Benni Harper series and most of Jennifer Chiaverini's books. I have not read her new book, I believe that the name of it is the Quilter's Kitchen. Most of the people I know that have read it weren't crazy about it.

How weird. I'm reading this one right now. I got to a real crucial part last night and had to turn the light out. 5:00 a.m. comes early. I also read Fields of Gold by this author. It was a different story. Debbie Macomber recommends this author
