Bloggers Quilt Festival

One of my favorite things in the blogging world is the Bloggers Quilt Festival, sponsored by Amy's Creative Side I always love looking at all of the quilts everyone puts up. For some reason this year I haven't gotten very much accomplished. I have finished two quilts and one of them has become one of my favorites, Glory Bound. It was a kit from Silver Thimble that I started last year and finished back in March. It is one of my favorites because I love the fabrics, which are mostly civil war repros. I actually thought about making it bigger but decided that I had made all of the half square triangles that I wanted to for a while.

Soooo lovely. Thank you for sharing this with us. You are the second one I've seen. Valentina's with her story realy blew me away this morning. You can find her link on the bloglist on my page. I'm gonna have to get over to Amy's and check all these out. In years past it's taken me a while to get through them all, I'm sure it's grown even more... Thank you again for participating! XO

That is such a lovely quilt. The colours are terrific. I agree with you, its hard to pass up on a good cookbook. I have been making an effort to pull out those ones I haven't used lately and making a couple of recipes from it before it gets shelved again.

Wow I love this pattern! Your quilt looks amazing. I can see why you are tired of HST... but it was all worth it.

So why do HST's have to be so time consuming?! They look just great in your quilt! They are worth the work, but like you I have to take a break from them. Lovely finish!
