I've been inspired!
As part of turning 50 I decided to do 50 new things or things I had not done in a long time. I have managed to do a few new things, but not many. I hope to change that this summer. I have been inspired to take a quilt class something I have not done in a very long time. After looking at Becky, over at the Quilting Booklady's blog and seeing this great quilt from Sweet Home, I knew that I had to sign up for it. I love it. It is paper piecing and that is something that I want to get better at, I have done just a little but have never had a class in it. I can't wait to do this class, the instructor, Debbie Fry is wonderful and I know that I will learn lots from her.

Looks like a great class and a terrific resolution!! I just love to paper piece. I am looking forward to seeing your progress in class.
I saw this quilt during Shop Hop. It's beautiful. I kept going back to it. I'm also a member of Pat's Silver Thimble. I attend the sessions in McDonough at A Scarlet Thread. Pat is such a hoot.
This is stunning! What a great challenge!
It's super that you are taking Debbie's class. She's a great teacher. I love your 50 new things resolution.
What a great idea. I have a few more years on you, and I can tell I'd better get hopping! Love the paper pieced quilt. I've done a few paper piecing projects and love how everything turns out perfect.
Have fun with the class! I love paper piecing, and you will love it and get hooked!
