New Pig in the Family

Met Pearl the  flying pig.  This cute little pig was a birthday gift from a dear friend at school.  She will make a great addition to my sewing room.

Custom pillow

Just finished this daschund pillow for a friend of mine at work.  Her dad recently passed away and she gave me several of his wool jackets.   She and her mom both have daschunds and she wanted pillows made that used his jackets.  The first one I made had just one doggie, it was for her mom who only  has one daschund. MM has two doggies and wanted each one on her pillow.  Love the way they turned out. 

It's my birthday

New Color, Shrimp

It is that time again.  Where do the years go?  I don't feel my age, I feel so much younger, ( not that I am old) but as my DH says I can't put off getting older.  Guess not.  To celebrate my birthday you can win two different woolie bullies (charm packs)  from Pig in a Blanket Wools.  Just make a comment about why you like working with wool and your favorite pattern and I will  pick one person at random to receive two woolie bullie packs.  One red, and one pink in honor of the Valentine season. Winter Wonderland

Second block of Winter Wonderland, mittens all finished.  I am really enjoying this stitch along.  I am doing this one, plus Silent Night, both are by Linda Whaley.  I am trying something different with Winter Wonderland.  I usually use Valdain # 12 for my wool applique on Winter Wonderland, I am trying #8.  These are larger pieces so I think it will work out ok.  I am trying to decide which size I like the best.
